Greta Spitzer, PT, DPT grew up in London, UK before moving to the United States to pursue her higher education. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Duquesne University and went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University.
Greta is passionate about promoting an active lifestyle and believes that each person is unique and deserves a healthcare approach that is tailored to them and their personal goals. She believes in empowering patients as active team members in their rehabilitation process, developing exercise prescriptions that focuses on individual needs, with frequent reassessment to help track success and motivate change. Blending her clinical expertise with the patient’s desired outcome, she has found satisfaction in facilitating physical recovery following injury or surgery.
Greta has been involved in sports throughout high school and college, representing the USA in the Netball World University Games in 2016 (Miami) and 2018 (Uganda). Greta now enjoys running, weightlifting, and playing netball recreationally and is always looking for the next half marathon in which to participate.
Greta recently moved to the Seattle area and finds the weather a nice reminder of home. When not in clinic, she is attempting to master new recipes, exploring new trails to run, and planning her next travel destination.
